A protected child is free to learn, dream, and grow. At Hope Day Cameroon, we are committed to preventing all forms of violence, creating safe environments, and supporting the most vulnerable children.
Our Protection Objectives
Fight against all forms of abuse (physical, psychological, sexual, institutional…)
Promote a safe and nurturing environment in care centers, schools, and families
Raise awareness among children and adults on abuse prevention and respect for children’s integrity
Reduce social inequalities that expose children to marginalization, exploitation, and violence
Support local organizations in their role of child protection
OUR INITIATIVES
WECARE CAMPAGNE
We provide comprehensive support to vulnerable children through:
un Psychosocial support (listening, emotional follow-up, guidance),
and Free medical campaigns in care centers , including pediatric consultations, screenings, and nutritional follow-up.
These interventions are carried out in partnership with hospitals, health centers, and independent doctors,committed to ensuring children have access to appropriate care and support.
SPREAD CAMPAGNE
We conduct awareness sessions on:
Children’s rights and responsibilities
Combating domestic and school violence
Protection against online abuse and sexual violence
MAKE IT LOUD
We strengthen the capacities of adults and organizations surrounding children — educators, caregivers, volunteers, families, and community leaders — through practical training on protection mechanisms, attentive listening, and abuse prevention.
At the same time, we conduct community awareness activitiesto change mindsets, encourage reporting of violence, and promote a culture of child protection.
