Every child has fundamental rights, regardless of their background or social situation. At Hope Day Cameroon, we are committed to ensuring that these rights are known, respected, and protected by everyone. connus, respectés et protégés par tous.
Our Commitment to Children’s Rights
Our actions in favor of children’s rights are organized around three main pillars:
Raising awareness among children about their rights so they can become active participants in their own protection;
Informing and empowering adults and institutions to ensure these rights are upheld daily;
Advocating for better compliance with national and international commitments regarding children’s rights.
OUR INITIATIVES
SPREAD CAMPAGNE
We carry out educational and community activities to raise awareness and understanding of children’s fundamental rights.
This includes:
Workshops in schools and care centers,
Public campaigns (posters, videos, radio…),
ainsi que des Thematic action days, such as International Children’s Rights Day.
Our goal : empower children to be active participants in their rights and involve those around them in their protection..
MAKE IT LOUD
We collaborate with lawyers, public institutions, and partner organizations to:
Support cases requiring legal protection,
Advocate for better enforcement of laws in favor of children,
Encourage concrete commitments from authorities and communities through advocacy, dialogue, and participation in local policies.
