EDUCATION
Education is a crucial key to breaking the cycle of poverty. At Hope Day Cameroon, we believe that every child, regardless of their background, has the right to access quality education in an environment that supports their development.
Our Educational Goals
Facilitate access to education for children from underprivileged backgrounds.
Reduce school dropout rates by supporting families in need.
Promote inclusive and quality education.
Encourage academic success and personal development.
DEEED PROGRAM
In the face of persistent educational inequalities and ongoing crises that threaten the future of thousands of children in Cameroon, Hope Day Cameroon has launched the DEEED (Développement, Epanouissement et Equilibre de l'Enfant Démuni)a structured initiative designed to sustainably support children from disadvantaged backgrounds, from access to education through to socio-professional integration.
The DEEED Program acts as a transformational pathway, providing children not only with access to education, but also with the tools necessary for their personal development, emotional balance, and social fulfillment.
Its objective is to support underprivileged children and youth over the long term in their overall development,by reducing social inequalities and fostering the emergence of talents capable of building their own future.
The 3 Pillars of the DEEED Program
Ensuring access to education, healthcare, and quality academic support through:
the Hope Day School Enrollment Campaign,,
the Genius Scholarship program,,
medical outreach campaigns and educational follow-up.
Strengthening children’s self-confidence, joy of living, and social integration through:
recreational and cultural activities,
solidarity events (Christmas celebrations, sports tournaments),
artistic and recreational partnerships.
Promoting emotional, social, and professional support through:
the Build-Up Workshops,
mentorship,
practical training and post-school guidance.
The DEEED Program follows a structured three-stage cycle:
talent identification,, strengthened support, and post-school orientation, ensuring a gradual transition toward autonomy, employment, or higher education.
